Under certain conditions listed below, the Fortelock PVC tiles must be fixed or glued to the substrate.
The fixation is a connection of the tiles with the floor. Which sufficiently guarantees the stability of the PVC tiles when driving with heavy loads. To fix the tiles, we recommend the UZIN universal fixation 6473 .
Absorbent substrates absorb the thin division line. And reduce the anti-slip effect. Therefore, before applying the adhesive, the floor must be penetrated with a suitable penetration.
The fixation is an application with a water-soluble paint on the floor, which fixes the PVC tiles in the desired place .
DIRECT SUNLIGHT
We recommend gluing the tiles in places that are exposed to direct sunlight. These are mainly rooms with many panes, around the south-facing areas, skylights, etc. PVC tiles exposed to direct sunlight can heat up and expand faster than the rest of the floor.
Notice:
In halls with larger driveways or in areas that are driven on by heavy vehicles, we recommend gluing the PVC tiles approx. 1.5 m from the driveways towards the center of the hall.
